Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
you bet we are!

Do you do background checks on your crew members?
Absolutely. Each crew member undergoes a background check as well as a social media check to make sure they are a good fit for AKA.

When do you work?
Great question! Aunt Key's hours are Monday-Saturday. We start our morning shift at 9am and our afternoon shift at 1pm. If you need a different time, that's okay, too! We can typically work you in!

Do you bring your own supplies?
Of course! We bring our own natural cleaning solutions, vacuum, mop and everything else! If you prefer a name brand cleaner, we ask that you leave it out for us each visit.

How will you enter/exit my home?
About 90% of our clientele have a key on file with us. Some give us garage codes, leave a key in a conspicuous area, or are there when we arrive. 

What if i have pets?
We will most likely want to pet them! If your fuzzy baby does not like strangers, we ask that you keep them put up while we clean. 

Will it be the same crew every time?
We strive to provide you with the same crew every visit. Please understand there may be absences due to illness, vacation, or family matters.

What if I am unhappy with my service?
We ask that you notify our office within 24 hours of your completed service. We encourage photographs of areas you may feel are incomplete, detailed descriptions, and anything else you can provide so the matter can be addressed with our crew. After that, we will likely return with your permission to provide you with the quality clean you deserve and we expect from our crew.

What if i love my service and want to tip?
Tips are great! Our crew doesn't expect tips, but they love when they get them. If you feel your crew deserves a little extra, you may add it to the cash or check payment or ask the office to add it to your invoice. 

How is time billed?
We have a 2 hour minimum per home. After that, we bill in 15 minute increments.

Can I pick the day and time of my service?
Most likely, yes. While some days are busier than others, we will work with your schedule to meet your individual needs. 

Should I "de-clutter" before you come?
We recommend picking up loose items around your home prior to your service. This allows our crew to effectively clean each space without spending extra time on things like arranging stuffed animals or picking up dirty clothes.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
We're a small local business, we have to have one. We ask that you let our office know by 5pm the day prior to your service if you will not be needing us. If our crew arrives but cannot get in to clean, 1 hour of your rate will be added to your account. Our crew will be reimbursed for the gas and time spent waiting with this fee. All clients are given a 15 minute grace period before our crew leaves.

How does payment work?
Payment is due at time of service. This can be done by cash, check, or online invoicing via Square. If you prefer to invoice, please note there will be a 10% late fee after 5 days. Checks should be made out to Aunt Keys Apothecary.
